WESTERN INFRASTRUCTURE’S constant commitment to Health and Safety is of primary importance in providing a safe working environment. We have recognised our responsibility in keeping all direct employees and subcontractors aware of their responsibility and to the duty of care among personnel for each other.
Our supervisory staff and employees are aware of their responsibilities in terms of industrial relations matters. All equipment is to be maintained in top operating conditions and operated in strict accordance to the manufacturer’s recommendations and only operated by qualified personnel.
In order to have excellent safety performance, WESTERN INFRASTRUCTURE believe that we need to have as a basis the following minimum needs:

- Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment and Safe Work Methods as an integral part of the way our people work.
- Comprehensive accident/incident investigations targeted at root cause identification, followed up and appropriately corrected and communicated.

ENVIRONMENTAL
WESTERN INFRASTRUCTURE has a strong commitment to Environmental Management. We ensure ongoing consultation with the client, contractors and employees in maintaining and establishing an Environmental Management Plan. This is aimed at providing the best result for the client whilst maintaining respect for the environment.
Our Environmental objectives includes the following:
- Identify, review and manage environmental impacts.
- Develop environmental management programs.
- Regularly monitor and improve environmental performance.
- Comply with legal requirements.
